Q1. Well answered.

You could also mention other products which follow the convention of a large masthead, several coverlines with kickers and explanatory text. Not all magazines for example have these, say the Duke of Edinburgh magazines or some elite design magazines like "Wallpaper". Some magazines do not have straplines...which ones do?

Q3:

What about school open day?

Q5:

When considering attraction it is prompting you to think about advertising. Would you put posters up, use the tannoi, plasma screen. How would you let people know about it/encourage people to read it. Would it be announced in Year assembly/pushed by form tutors?

Q6: In your music magazine, you will have to go in to detail about the editing. This could be aided by showing a before and after of the image(s).

Overall, a good effort has been put in to this preliminary magazine.

I am happy to say that you have been awarded the first 15 marks for your coursework.

Q5. Second thoughts:

You could also mention what on the cover attracts students to your magazine. What coverlines/articles are appealing to your audience.

Why would someone be attracted to the magazine and pick it up and read it.
