I would duplicate the lower cover lines from Fresh faces and the explanatory below that.
Duplicate in black so you can do the same 3D effect that you did on your DPS.
Also I would change the font of "Fresh Faces" to make it more exciting.
Masthead and dateline work fine, but I think your magazine front would bgenefit greatly from more dynamic fonts and it would probably move you up a mark band.
