Airbrushing is when get rid of any spots and blemishes that a person has in a picture.
In picture one, which is the original picture the girl has a spot and dimple but in the second image the spot and dimple have been taken away. This has been done by cloning around the area of where the spot is and going over the actual area. Then a blur was put across the image and features like the eyes, lips, eyebrows, nose piercing and earring where all brought back. Then her eyes were changed from colour blue to green. A soft light was added to this so the colour would become transparent and would look more natural. Her hair colour was also changed from the mousy-brown in the first image to a blonde in the second. This was only a tester image therefore the hair isn’t perfect as the hair line doesn’t look natural and the wisps of hair that hang about her face have to sorted out as well.
