Researching and planning your preliminary task – school magazine
For this a plan has to be made about what the magazine cover is going to look like. Fonts and colours have to be taken into consideration because we need to know what is going to attract the consumer. On the cover the rule of thirds has to be taken into account because we need to know how and where the images and writing are going to be set out and we need to know what the main focal point will be. The colour theme also has to be thought about because you want it to look professional and sophisticated so the colour palette has to be right, a theme needs to run through the cover and not just have random colours that don’t compliment each other.
